The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust invites applications for its travelling fellowships. These enable British citizens to travel overseas in order to carry out projects that aim to identify new and better ways of tackling a wide range of current challenges facing the UK. The aim is to support research that could not be carried out in the UK and therefore require overseas travel, and that provides public benefit to a community, a sector or the UK as a whole. Applications are invited in the following categories: •artists and makers; •education; •emergency services; •enterprise; •environment, conservation and sustainable living; •healthcare; •migration – living well together; •nursing and allied health professions; •rural living; •science, technology and engineering; •suicide; •young people’s awards; •open category.
